"Hats off to Goring."
-BOB LEGGETT, INDIE VOICE

"Goring played Ever as sullen and filled with teenage rage and her body language really conveyed her angst and despair.  In the end, I was surprised by how moved I was.  Check it out."
-Allison Gerson, Mooney Theater

"Goring pulls the show together...an adult in a child's body"
-PATRICK CHAVIS,LA THEATER BITES

Hi, I’m Chrysalis!
I've been acting for 7 years now, since I decided to be a professional actress when I was 9 years old. Before then, I acted off and on as a child, and because my mom is a director I was practically raised in theater!I love doing both theater and film, however theater will always have a special place in my heart because of the 6-Fringe Festival tour of The Cardboard Countess I did 2 summers ago and Middleschoolandia, an original musical I co-wrote and performed in the Hollywood Fringe when I was 12.
As well as acting, I love nature and traveling. I've driven across the continent 7 times in the last 3 years, from California to Newfoundland.
I have been to 43 states, 7 provinces, and earned over 50 Junior Ranger Badges in so many National and state parks that I've lost count.
Last summer, I was awarded a merit scholarship to Interlochen Arts camp, which was pretty cool until i caught a virus that severely triggered a very rare genetic disease called HLH that I didn't know I had. However, I'm in remission now and back to acting! I really wanted to spread awareness about HLH because the fatality rate is abysmal largely due to misdiagnosis. I put a link to a GoFundMe i started with links to information about HLH and support.
Check out the rest of my website to see what else I've done!

LA THEATER BITES
In the summer of 2020 during the pandemic, I made a one-person film with my mom (who is an excellent photographer) called Civili$ed. Civili$ed is largely improvised, and all of the props, set, costume, and piles of moss were made by me. Social media and youtube guru TheRealCityBich gets lost in the woods of BC, Canada with no cell service, food, or company, and you'll just have to watch it to see if she gets eaten by a bear or not.
